HP has introduced a renewal of its range of premium equipment, which includes the new HP Elite 1000 Series for the professional and corporate market, and the upgrade of the ENVY series, with laptops, convertibles and high-end desktop.

HP says that today’s consumer wants a device that can do everything, whether at home, at work or at school. And hence the offer of these new ENVY that improve performance with the latest Intel or AMD processing solutions, dedicated graphics, and other components such as HP Sure View privacy technology and security as fingerprint readers and IR cameras.

HP will release the Command Center software in the new ENVY, which will allow users to optimize system performance, fan noise and temperature with CoolSense technology. They also mount a premium audio system from Bang & Olufsen and Wi-Fi Gigabit.

HP ENVY 13 Laptop

The first of the updated models is an ultraportable with aluminum premium chassis, 13.3-inch multi-touch IPS screen with Full HD resolution, an Intel Core i7-8550U quad-core processor 8 Gbytes of RAM and 256GB PCIe SSD for storage. You can equip a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce MX150 optional and offer up to 14 hours of battery life.

As a design element, when the laptop is opened, the lid opens to move the back of the keyboard upwards, improving convenience of use and ventilation. It offers USB Type-C and A ports and the usual connectivity, including a fingerprint reader on the side of the device.

HP ENVY 17 Laptop

A team designed as a replacement for a desktop for entertainment and content creation. It offers a 17-inch screen and 4K panel option. It is powered by quad-core Intel Core 8-Generation processors, supports Intel Optane memory technology and features dedicated NVIDIA graphics.

They have backlit keyboard, Bang & Olufsen speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type C and Type A ports and memory card reader.

HP ENVY x360 13 and 15

Two convertibles with hinged system that allows the rotation of the screen up to 360 degrees to favor several modes of use. The first offers a 13.3-inch multitouch IPS screen and is powered by AMD’s Ryzen with Vega graphics, 8 Gbytes of RAM and 128 or 256 Gbytes solid-state drive.The 15-inch model offers the same design in a superior size of 15.6 inches, multi-touch IPS with possibility of 4K panel. You can use the Intel Core or the AMD Ryzen and like the previous one, it offers the same memory and the SSD to PCIe. There is no trace of hard drives on any of these computers.

HP ENVY Desktop

HP has also updated the desktop of the series with a tower of modern and minimalist design. No details have been offered, except that it will be able to equip Intel’s six-core processors and dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics.

Availability and price HP ENVY Laptops

With Windows 10 pre-installed, all models will be available from this month on HP.com. We assume they will arrive at the international retail channel this same month and with the following prices:

  • HP ENVY 13 will be available from $999.
  • HP ENVY 17 will be available from $1,049.
  • HP ENVY x360 13 will cost $759 on your base kit.
  • HP ENVY x360 15 will start from $749 AMD version. While Intel’s will cost $ 869.
  • HP ENVY Desktop will be available from $799.
